Speaking Engagements

Larry Verbit is often asked to speak at various continuing legal education seminars.  Recently, he spoke to the Los Angeles Chapter of the Editorial Freelancers Association.  Previously, he was one of two panelists for a program on Reality Television, sponsored by the Barrister’s Committee of the Beverly Hills Bar Association as part of their ongoing program, Nuts and Bolts of the Entertainment Business: Gaining a Competitive Edge By Understanding the Legal and Business Complexities of the Ever Changing Marketplace. This program also was Webcast throughout the country and is offered on DVD for continuing education of lawyers.  He also served as moderator and panelist for a program sponsored by the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association on Cable Television – Trends, Parameters and Deal Points Experienced by Production Companies in Current Cable Transactions.
