Services

The Firm represents various production companies, businesses and individuals in production and general business activities in the entertainment and media industries, and other businesses in retail and wholesale environments. We are a “go to” firm for production law and production legal services for reality and scripted television programming. Our many clients include the most pre-eminent reality production companies and television movie producers.

We offer legal and business affairs services to our clients, serving as an “Outside General Counsel” for small to medium size companies and as production counsel for films, television movies, and scripted and unscripted television programs.

Since its opening, the Firm has worked with numerous companies and has been involved in films and numerous television programs and specials scheduled for telecast on a variety of broadcast outlets, including CBS, NBC, Fox, MyNetwork TV, The WB, A&E, Animal Planet, Bio, Bravo, CMT, multiple Discovery Networks, Disney Channel, Disney Now, Disney +, DIY, E!, Esquire, FYI, Fuse, Game Show Network, Google, Hallmark Channel, HBO, HGTV, Lifetime, Logo, Oxygen, Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), PAX/ION, PBS, Pivot, POP, Punch TV, Science, Speed Channel, multiple Scripps Networks, Sundance Channel, TLC, Travel, TRU, TV One, VH1, Vox, WE YouTube Channels, and X-Box.

The Firm has represented start-up companies in various fields and has worked with several wholesale and product related entities. Previously, one of our clients had an IPO and was listed on the American Stock Exchange and we assisted a client in negotiating a $9 million credit facility from a hedge fund for the production and distribution of 130 episodes of a daily half hour syndicated television program.

We are now also representing individual talent. Having represented management for more than two decades, we are able to provide individuals the unique perspective of the other side when assisting them in their negotiations with production companies.

The Firm’s principal understands businesses involved in both the entertainment and media industries and in the general business environment, and negotiates for and advises our clients on business agreements in connection with their operations. In the entertainment industry, the majority of agreements for production and the running of an entertainment and media business are business agreements, whether they be for the engagement of a director or actor or for the financing, distribution or production of a film or television program. However, we understand the unique and special considerations required for and associated with individuals and entities in the entertainment and media industries.
